The Fensch Joint Urban Transport Union (Smitu) – which will take the name Temo from January 1, 2025 – continues its revolution. After developing an application to find out about the position of the bus in real time, it is preparing to experiment with a new night service on several of these lines in conjunction with its delegatee Kéolis Trois Frontières.

Named Noctéline, this will be implemented from Monday November 18, 2024 until Saturday March 15, 2025 and will target the busiest lines of the Citéline network: S01 (Basse-Ham/Yutz), S02 (Thionville gare/BelAir ), S05 (Fontoy/Hayange), S09 (Thionville/Guénange village), S14 (Florange, Thionville Bel Air), S20 (Thionville gare/Hayange esplanade), S22 (Hayange esplanade/Thionville Foch wax), S23 (Hayange esplanade/ Thionville Foch wax) and S24 (Yutz/Thionville Foch Liberté).

The principle? Enjoy a tailor-made evening service. This means that from 7 p.m., people traveling alone or accompanied by a child will be able to ask drivers to let them off between two stops on the lines mentioned above. One way to guarantee them a “quicker and safer return”. “Being able to stop as close to home as possible is a good initiative to ensure the safety of our users, particularly women. When it comes to security, there are no small measures,” indicates Rémy Dick, president of Smitu via a press release.
