After Halloween, it is already time, at least for those who like to anticipate, to think about Christmas gifts. Here is our selection of organized markets near Saint-Lô and Coutances.

Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November 2024

Montmartin-sur-Mer. The Les Patrimoines de Montmartin-sur-Mer association is organizing its Saint-Nicolas market. 35 exhibitors are expected at the cultural space, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (6 p.m. Sunday).

Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November

Guilberville. The Vire Entrepreneurs Club (CEV), a new association, is organizing its first Christmas Gift Fair, in the village hall, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Many stands will be present, activities planned (photos with Santa Claus, children's workshops, drawing competition, basket to win).

From Friday November 29 to Sunday December 1

Hambye. In partnership with the Association of Friends of Hambye Abbey, the abbey is organizing its 4e Christmas market, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday. Many local artisans and producers participate and several events are planned. Program via this website.

Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1

Geffosses. Organized by the RPI Havre et Bocage APE and the festival committee, at the school. Many local artists and creators. Santa Claus comes at 3 p.m. both days. Many activities. Opening at 10 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.

Saint-Lô. Christmas market in the stud stables, Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. With local creators and producers, solidarity and charity market.

Shoeing and farriery demonstrations. Pony rides, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., catering on site.

Saint-Jean-des-Baisants. Organized by the Association Club Détente et Loisirs de Rouxeville, in the village hall, with around thirty artisans and creators. On site, mulled wine, pancakes, etc. and storyteller. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Cerences. Proposed by the festival committee, the twinning committee and rural families, with local and English products, Place de l'Eglise, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (6 p.m., Sunday). Catering on site. A toy fair is also organized on Sundays in the village hall.

Gouvets. The Eléanore ma petite sauvageonne association is organizing the 3rde edition of its Christmas market in the conviviality room, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., for the benefit of Eleanore, who has a disability. With craft creators, entertainment, Christmas tree stands, etc.

Gratot. Christ Church in the Manche welcomes you for its 15e English Christmas market. Pastries and English Christmas products will be there.

Meet at 5-7, rue du Moulin de Vesque, Le Hommëel, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday.

Quettreville-sur-Sienne. Organized by the Parents' Association, with local artisans and producers, in the village hall, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Many activities.

Regnéville-sur-Mer. The castle welcomes you from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with local artisans, creators and producers. A magnificent Christmas decor awaits you on site. Small restaurant and refreshment bar.

Sunday December 1st

Chanteloup. Organized by the Chanteloup Loisirs Association, in the village hall, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., numerous stands, mulled wine and pancakes.

Friday December 6

Courcy. The Au Courcy'rcuit grocery bar is organizing its Christmas market, with a special market from 6 p.m., expanded for the occasion, and a show at 8 p.m. Other “Christmas special” markets on Friday December 13 and 20.

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December

Blainville-sur-Mer. Organized by CAP Blainville-sur-Mer and the Animation Tourisme Blainville association, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, in the village hall and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, in the village hall and in the village .

Local exhibitors and artisans, entertainment, Santa Claus (Sunday, 4 p.m.), Christmas story and fireworks (Sunday, 6 p.m., at the stadium), Christmas carols. Town shops open, free pony rides, horse-drawn carriage.

Coutances. Solidarity Christmas offered by Coutancese associations, with gift ideas that will help finance humanitarian projects. Meet from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Saint-Nicolas space.

Agon-Coutainville. Organized by the City, with numerous exhibitors, at the Foyer des Marettes, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday. Saturday, at 3 p.m., concert with La Mafia Normande.

Sunday, 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., presence of Santa Claus.

Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin. 50 exhibitors, artisans and creators. Games and activities for children. Presence of Santa Claus. Meet from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the cultural room.

Sunday December 8

Pont-Hébert. Organized by the festival committee, in the village hall, with around fifteen exhibitors, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Arrival of Santa Claus at 3 p.m., catering on site.

Saturday December 14

Lambs. Large market with 80 exhibitors, proposed by the City, in the sports hall. Schedules to come.

Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December

Bréhal. Around thirty exhibitors gathered in the Wheat Market and on the church square, Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Many activities, including a giant toboggan run. Santa Claus announced on Saturday, at 4 p.m.

Sunday December 15

La Chapelle-en-Juger. Organized by the Les Copains d’antan association, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., village hall. Creators and producers, Santa Claus arrives at 3 p.m. Catering and refreshment bar on site. The day before, Saturday December 14, aperitif-concert at 7 p.m., with the Pirate group.

Friday December 20

Torigny-les-Villes. Organized by the Union of Traders, from 4 p.m., Place du Château. Creators, producers, Santa Claus, raffle, fireworks at 7:30 p.m. Mulled wine and pastries. Catering on site.

Saturday December 21 and Sunday December 22

Villedieu-les-Poêles. Organized by the festival committee, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the village hall, with numerous exhibitors and entertainment. Catering on site.

Furthermore, the Christmas market Coutances, very famous and popular, with its thirty exhibitors, will be organized from December 14 to 24, Place and Espace Saint-Nicolas, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., every day.
