Haute-. Lego® fans will present their creations in an XXL exhibition in Monistrol

“With Lego®, you can do anything. There are no limits. »

Chris Meza-Tchivongo, head of the Novabrick association, is an Afol. An “Adult Lego® fan”, in the jargon of the world of colored bricks.

On November 30 and December 1, Couramiaud invited around fifteen enthusiasts from all over to exhibit their creations at the Capitelle in Monistrol-sur-.

Decors from the Star Wars or Harry Potter universes

Reconstructions of urban scenes with buildings, roads and shops, scenes from the Star Wars or Harry Potter universes, vehicles, monuments… visitors will be able to wander through 400 m2 decorations of all kinds. A titanic job for the exhibitors. “They are all original creations, taken directly from their imagination. Some sometimes took four years to build them,” explains the enthusiast.

The sets are pre-assembled at home then dismantled into large blocks and reassembled on site. “The day before the exhibition, it will sometimes take more than four hours for some participants to reconstruct their creations. »

So, there is no question of visitors playing with the decorations. “It’s just for viewing pleasure!” But we know that it is sometimes frustrating, so we have provided a play area with loose bricks available for children and adults who would like to satisfy their desire to create something. »

Bertrand Barbe, winner of the last season of the Lego® Masters show on M6, will also be present with his trophy. Originally from Saint-Chamond, he will sign autographs to those who wish.

One thousand five hundred visitors are expected by the association for this “Monistrol in bricks” weekend. As in every city where Novabrick passes, part of the profits from the event will be donated to an association linked to childhood or disability.

“It will be the Sou of the public schools of Monistrol-sur-Loire. We will be able to help finance school trips for children,” underlines the organizer, who is also working on one of the largest Lego® exhibitions in France at our Loire neighbors, in Saint-Chamond, for November 2025.
