great success with the participation of 8,000 professionals

Placed under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, this exhibition, organized by the Moroccan Association of Textile and Clothing Industries (AMITH), mainly brought together Moroccan companies covering the entire value chain. of the textile sector: fabrics and accessories, with a strong representation of the segments of machinery, services, yarns and fabrics, textile manufacturing, spaces dedicated to Moroccan brands and creators as well as trends, indicates a press release from the organizers.

More than 150 national and international exhibitors took over the 8,000 m² of the 21st edition of MIM, the press release said, noting that nearly 800 project leaders, including prestigious international brands, were present.

The fair welcomed delegations from many countries, including Saudi Arabia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Canada, China, South Korea, USA, , India , Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Turkey and many others, underlines the same source, noting that this event constituted a strategic platform to encourage partnerships and stimulate investments in the Moroccan textile sector.

And to add that the novelty of this edition, namely the Casa Moda Academy fashion show, made an impression and reinforced the visibility of Moroccan designers and brands.

At the same time, AMITH signed a memorandum of understanding with EURATEX (European Clothing and Textile Confederation) aimed at promoting increased industrial cooperation between the Moroccan textile sector and the European Union, strengthening the attractiveness of Morocco in the Euro-Mediterranean area.

An agreement signed between AMITH and the Technical Center for Textiles and Clothing (CTTH) was put in place to support the competitiveness of Moroccan brands on national and international markets, in addition to an agreement between AMITH and Casa Moda Academy (CMA) focusing on strengthening the sustainability of brands through support for Moroccan creators.

A true accelerator of B to B connections, the MIM show is distinguished by a high-quality business climate, offering a privileged space for exchanges and opportunities in the textile industry.

Furthermore, conferences led by experts enriched the program, addressing crucial themes for the future of the sector: the ITC conference on the textile industry and the fight against climate change; the AITEX presentation on safety and sustainability in textiles; the Garment IO conference on digital transformation in clothing companies; as well as interventions by CTTH and the European Center for Innovative Textiles (CETI-France) on circularity and artificial intelligence in the service of fashion.

This event once again affirmed the central role of the MIM show as an essential event for the development of the textile sector in Morocco and beyond.
