An ice rink and an XXL store
Organizers hope to attract around 500,000 more visitors than last year, when nearly a million people strolled through the aisles. To do this, they have focused on several new features, in particular on an XXL ice rink which will open on November 22, 2024, indicate our colleagues. Its 450 m² of ice will be accessible for €10 (adult rate) and €5 (child rate under 13).
A 1,000 m² decoration shop has also been set up, with gift ideas for the end-of-year celebrations. Children will be able to meet Santa Claus on the Parvis de La Défense on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons, as well as on December 23 and 24. Originally, a giant 160m zipline was also planned, but its installation was ultimately canceled due to a setback, reveals News Paris.
The La Défense Christmas market is open from Sunday to Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., as well as Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
