discover the five new sites launched by the Department to develop tourism

Created by the Department in 2018, the agency Seine-et-Marne Attractiveness has the mission of contributing to the territorial development of Seine-et-Marne and its tourist influence nationally and internationally. It is with this objective in mind that the public establishment presented, Thursday, November 7, on the occasion of its first Digital meetingsorganized at the Majestic in Montereau-Fault-Yonne, its five new sites Internet.

Indeed, if the agency had set itself an objective of 800,000 visitors per year on its platform “ Seine-et-Marne en Grand ”, in 2021, she quickly realized that this figure would be difficult to achieve with a single website.

“Our portal had three facets: tourist attractiveness, residential attractiveness and economic attractiveness. Despite our efforts, we started to ask ourselves questions in 2023, because the 800,000 visitors had not been reached,” explains Sylvie Lahunageneral director of Seine-et-Marne Attractiveness.

A reflection which resulted in the diversification of the digital presence of the departmental agency: “The fact that there is a lot of information on the same portal led the Internet user to have to search for a long time to find the information they needed. And because of that, we lost this Internet user and we did not retain them. Instead of just one site, we therefore decided to create five sites on five different topicsor even six, counting the site in English,” she adds.

Aimed at the general public as well as professionals, these five platforms therefore address five themes. The first is devoted to tourismit is dedicated to the general public, it is the main site. Then, Internet users will be able to find a site that addresses the aspect socio-professionalwith attendance figures, season reports and the various studies carried out by the agency.

The third platform is dedicated to reservations. All without forgetting the “ brand website », which allows partners to increase their visibility by being part of the territory brand, and the economic siteentitled “Invest”, which is aimed primarily at investors.

But these Digital Meetings were also an opportunity for Seine-et-Marne Attractiveness to present its two new promotional videospublished the morning of the event.

The first of these was designed with an objective “ sensory »: “The goal is to provide, in a short time and thanks to the images, sensations that make the Internet user want to come and discover the territory”, Sylvie Lahuna.

The second, much more institutional, is intended more for the promotion of particular places. By viewing it, you will find images of well-known places such as the Château de Fontainebleau, the ramparts of Provins or the medieval city of Moret-sur-Loing.
