Hervé Monin, project manager of the Calvados offshore wind farm, will present this ambitious project at the next Caen yacht club maritime café, Thursday November 21, 2024.
Located off the coast of Courseulles-sur-Mer, this flagship EDF Renewables project will mobilize more than 1,000 people for its construction and will create around a hundred long-term jobs during the operational phase, with a maintenance base installed at the port of Caen Ouistreham.

The park, made up of 64 wind turbines with a total capacity of 450 MW, aims to provide green electricity to around 630,000 people.

It is part of a broader national ambition: the creation of a French renewable marine energy sector, competitive for export and contributing to the energy transition.
After the presentation, a time for discussion with the participants is planned.
