The European Waste Reduction Week takes place from November 16 to 24, 2024. In Cliff (Calvados) and in the Cliff Countryhere is the program whose theme is: eat better, waste less.

The European Waste Reduction Week program

– Exhibition on food waste. All audiences. Activities, workshops and exhibitions.

– Screening of the documentary Locavores (23 minutes), followed by a discussion on the actions carried out in the territory. At 8 p.m. All audiences.

– Show entitled “Abricadébara” by T. Mulachie and N. Audouze. For schools.

– Zero waste sewing creation: sandwich packaging to avoid using plastic. From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. General public – Registration on 02 31 20 42 00.

• Wednesday November 20at Biocoop

– Awareness day around waste reduction / awareness of food waste with L’Éboueur Vert and Graine d’Odyssée. All audiences.

• Wednesday November 20in Saint-Pierre-du-Bû

– Exhibition on waste. From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. All audiences. Reservation required on 02 31 90 99 65;

– Zero waste escape game 5R-OD: excavations, manipulations, reflections and puzzles will be there. From 8 years old, 5 people maximum per slot. From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Reservation required on 02 31 90 99 65.

Intervention of a digital advisor

• Thursday November 21at the socio-cultural center

– Intervention by a digital advisor from the department on the issue of digital sobriety. What pollutes our use of the internet? From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. All audiences. Registration on 02 31 20 42 00.

– Information workshop on sustainable eating “eat well without wasting” in partnership with the association Les Insatiables: intervention by a dietician and a chef. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All audiences. Registration on 02 31 20 42 00.

• Friday November 22in Falaise

– Workshop-show “Come and play poison yourself”, with the Compagnie Bleu Nuage. For schools.

• Saturday November 23in Falaise

– At the weekly market: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. / 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. At the leisure center: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Workshop-show “Come play poison yourself” on the

decryption of food product labels, with Compagnie Bleu Nuage. All audiences.
