Rachida Dati's former chief of staff becomes secretary general of the Côtes-d'Armor prefecture

Georges Salaün was appointed secretary general of the Côtes-d'Armor prefecture by a decree of the President of the Republic, dated Wednesday November 13, 2024. He will also be the sub-prefect of Saint-Brieuc and thus replaces David Cochu.

A position for three years. Georges Salaün was appointed secretary general of the Côtes-d'Armor prefecture, by decree of the President of the Republic, Wednesday November 13, 2024.

He was also appointed sub-prefect of the district of Saint-Brieuc. He replaces David Cochu, who has held this position since June 2022.

Chief of staff of two ministers

Just before taking this position, Georges Salaün was chief of staff of the prefect of the region, and prefect of Martinique until August 2023. Then, he was chief of staff of the minister responsible for gender equality. , Isabelle Rome, then chief of staff of the Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati and her Overseas advisor.

He shares this last point with the brand new prefect of Côtes-d'Armor, François de Kerever, who was also overseas advisor to the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron.
