Disappearance of Fadela in Ariège · Agricultural anger in · Opening date of the Christmas market

The main news:

While the search for Fadela, 50, who has been missing for around ten days now continues in Ariège between Biert and Massat, the lawyer of the main suspect has spoken.

Maître Guy Dedieu indicates that his client “denies any involvement in this affair and had no reason to want to attempt the life of this woman”, reports La Dépêche, even though he would be the last person to have crossed paths with Fadela. He also specified that his client, incarcerated since Monday in Foix as part of an indictment for homicide, “understands the stakes of this procedure and is not surprised that he is being asked to account.”

Agricultural anger is still expressed

If the large-scale action planned this Friday by Haut-Garonne farmer Jérôme Bayle was finally postponed until the end of the month, the demands continue to be expressed and the mobilization is organized.

Yesterday, at the Sud tollbooth, in Aude, a filter barrier was put in place, and visual inspection operations of truck loading were also carried out, obviously targeting foreign carriers.

From Monday, other actions will be put in place throughout the department and the region, they will mainly aim to raise awareness among the general public of their issues.
