Before you say yes, take a quick trip to the Château de Bizy. Saturday November 16 and Sunday November 17, the Kwanza events company is organizing the second edition of the Wedding Fair at the Château de Bizy, in Vernon (Eure), an idyllic setting to prepare for the most beautiful day of your life.
After the success of the first edition last year, which attracted 1,200 visitors over the two days, Michaëla Daniel-Thomas, creator of wedding dresses and founder of the Katshoppin brand, decided to continue the adventure this year, still in collaboration with Benita Gillé, floral decorator and creator of the Kossaben Events brand. As a reminder, the Wedding Show was born from the union of these two brands which gave life to Kwanza events.
Around twenty exhibitors
For this second edition, a twenty exhibitors will take place within the castle walls: jeweler, florist, photographerDJ, wedding planner, car rental company, stationery, wedding dresses, caterer...
Among them, merchants from Vernon are joining the event, including Valérie Kattan, photographer and Natur'AL, the hairdressing and beauty salon, open since May on rue Saint-Jacques.
“We favor craftsmen who have recognized know-how but also locals. I am happy to be able to count Vernonnais among the exhibitors because this event also aims to promote the city and its talents. »
Wedding dress shows
One exhibitor could particularly attract your attention: Nature porcelain. “These are handmade porcelain jewelry made from flower prints. It’s very delicate and very beautiful,” confides the organizer.
Like last year, four parades of wedding dresses will be organized (two on Saturday and two on Sunday) at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The opportunity for Michaëla Daniel-Thomas to present her creations.
“I offer custom-made dresses, made in Normandy. Today, the wedding dress market in Europe is mainly concentrated in Ukraine, Poland and finally China. »
A hair and makeup show is also planned.
The Wedding Fair focuses more on quality and high end. “In France, on average, a wedding with 80 guests costs between 15 and 20,000 euros. We are rather in a higher niche,” warns the organizer who also offers her services as a wedding planner to future brides and grooms.
Free entry
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the enchanting setting of the castle by walking in the large park since the entrance will be exceptionally free.
Guided and paid tours will also be organized for those who wish. For the comfort of participants, a parking capable of accommodating 1,200 vehicles will be made available in the garden. The opportunity also for those who do not yet know the Château de Bizy to discover it. “I walked there during a photo shoot and I was charmed,” admits the organizer.
The Wedding Fair is free. Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November at the Château de Bizy, avenue Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny. Hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the presence of Miss Elégance Normandie 2023. Guided tours: €6.
