25 departments and 67 municipalities in 3 months
This year, with 90 days of visa, she is leaving for a fourth three-month loop towards the east of France, covering 25 departments and 67 municipalities, representing a journey of approximately 3,000 km until February 6. Ann began her pilgrimage on November 11 from the basilica of Tours. On Wednesday at 8 a.m., she left Montrésor (37) for a stage of around thirty kilometers to reach Saint-Martin-de-Lamps, commune of Levroux. She was warmly welcomed at the entrance to the village at 5 p.m. sharp, by Michèle Prévost, deputy mayor of this commune, Pascale Descampeaux, deputy in Levroux, and a small delegation from the village. Ann then went to the town hall where Michèle Prévost affixed the stamp of the municipality to the passport validating her passage. Hosted by a person from the village for room and board, she left Thursday morning at 8 a.m. for a new stage of around forty kilometers which took her to La Chapelle-Montmartin (41). A busy year, because after France, she will join Ireland and then Canada for her personal challenge.
