This Thursday, November 14, 2024, all eyes will be on the Stade de as the French and Israeli teams face off in the Nations League. A meeting deemed “high risk” by the authorities. Consequence: a major security system has been put in place, which will disrupt traffic around the enclosure.

4,000 police and gendarmes mobilized

Thus, the following axes will be closed:

– The strap of exit n°2 of the A1 motorway in the Paris-province direction will be closed from 9:30 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.

– The strap of exit n°9 of the A86 motorway in the outward direction towards will be closed from 9:45 p.m. to midnight.

– The slow lane of the A86 motorway in the outward direction towards Nanterre, set back from access n°9from Avenue du Stade de France will be neutralized, from 9:45 p.m. to midnight.

– Neutralization of the emergency lane of the ramp access n°9 from 4:00 p.m. to midnight.

In total, there are no less than 4,000 police officers and gendarmes who will thus be mobilized around the Stadium, inside but also on public transport.

The authorities also recommend going to the match using the RER B and D as well as metro 13.

Furthermore, the 15,000 to 20,000 spectators expected (barely a quarter of the stadium) will be subject to several searches. They will also be asked not to come with bags or water bottles.

Several associations and political parties have requested the boycott of the meeting sports to show their opposition to the policy pursued by Israel in Gaza, Lebanon and the West Bank.
