A PSIG gendarme from L'Isle-Adam kills himself a few months before retirement

This Monday, the Val-d'Oise gendarmerie was struck by a tragedy. A gendarme assigned to the Gendarmerie Surveillance and Intervention Platoon (PSIG) of L'Isle-Adam ended his life, a few months before his retirement. This desperate gesture upset his colleagues, who quickly launched a fundraiser to help his family in this ordeal.

As reported by Actu17, in a poignant tribute published on social networks, a comrade of the deceased testified to his commitment and his humanity: “Every day, you wore the uniform with honor, and you never backed down in the face of to challenges, even when life tested you. You knew how to listen, you knew how to comfort, and your presence always brought strength, support, invaluable comfort. »
