Villeneuve-sur-Lot. Solidarity Christmas returns to the Seniors’ House

Atefat, Comité Palestine 47, Laxmi, L'Ombre du baobab, Soleil du Tibet and RESF 47. All these Villeneuvois associations will be on deck this weekend, and for a good cause. Once again, they are joining forces for a moment of cohesion and sharing, with the renewal of the Solidarity Christmas operation.

The event is being held a little more than usual this year, this Saturday November 16 and Sunday November 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. So as not to encroach on other events. A dual objective too: “to offer gifts under the solidarity tree and to raise awareness of our associations” say the organizers. The weather reminds us well, winter is approaching, and so is the time to prepare your Christmas presents. The associations will therefore offer decorative objects, fabrics, jewelry, clothing, throws, etc. All with a humanitarian vocation. Above all, “none was made by children, we ensure that”, specify the associations. Affordable prices, to make a gesture while filling your gift list. The money collected will be directly transmitted to the countries represented, so that those who are there and who participated in the manufacture of the objects offered to Villeneuvois can earn a better living.
