“Anticipation is a necessity in order not to repeat the same errors as those made since the return of the wolf thirty years ago,” writes the Finistère Peasant Confederation in a press release. “The return of wolves disrupts and profoundly calls into question our breeding practices in a difficult economic context.”
It is in this vein that the professional organization is organizing an evening of information and discussion on the issues of wolf predation in Plounéour-Ménez (29), on Wednesday November 20, at 7 p.m.
“This round table will be an opportunity to discuss between breeders, OFB, DDTM, Hunting Federation, associations, Brittany Veterinary Technical Group,” announces the Farmers’ Confederation. The scheduled speakers are Thomas Vernay, former breeder in Drôme, “Large predators” project manager (Confederation
national peasant); Léo Parrel, breeder in Plouezoc'h and wolf referent for the Finistère Peasant Confederation on the departmental wolf committee and Julien Tallec, breeder in Brennilis and spokesperson for the Finistère Peasant Confederation.
