Hairdressing enthusiast Dana Dawson Ndamba travels to the Center-Manche and South-Manche, to offer her services, since 2018.

In 2022, the young woman officially launched her business, “Tresse Nattes”, which is largely developing, thanks to word of mouth.

Dana Dawson learned the discipline in her aunt's hairdressing salon in Gabon, and she has the particularity of not cutting hair, but only performing African braids, braids, weaves, extensions… With or without jewelry and extensions, on people with frizzy hair or not.

A specialist in frizzy hair

If you are part of local groups on social networks, you must have seen messages from mothers who were desperately looking for a hairdresser, around Granville, who could take care of their children's frizzy hair.

Braids Pigtails can then appear as a solution. The manager of the hairdressing company explains: “you need to know how to maintain frizzy hair and have the basics to detangle it well”, which is not within everyone's reach.

She advises also, “to alternate hairstyles at least every month, so as not to damage the hair”.

And if we often hear that tight braiding is painful, Dana Dawson assures, “my clients never have a headache while I braid or the following days”, and that, “however, my hairstyles still hold.”

The hairdresser travels for your events and group hairstyles

A resident of Saint-Martin-de-Landelle, Dana Dawson, travels to Granville, Villedieu-les-Poêles and the surrounding areas, only for events.

Recently, she offered quick hairstyles (less than 20 minutes), for a party organized by a Granville store, or for weddings and birthdays.

The hairdresser can also come homebut only if she has at least “two or three clients to do their hair in the same day”, so that her trip is profitable.

Even if, above all, Dana Dawson wants to “take the time to have a moment of exchange and discussion. She assures, with a smile: “What I like about this work is, above all, making sure that the women and girls (from 3 years old) that I do hair feel beautiful. The day there is more demand, I would like to open a salon in La Manche, to be able to welcome them. »
