From September 1, 2025, all of the Sytral mobilities transport networks in the regions “will become one”, the metropolis announced on Wednesday, which also unveiled a new TCL brand identity. 20 Minutes takes stock of these changes planned for 2025.

“This union is the fruit of joint, transpartisan work, with the same objective: Improve public transport and offer better quality service to all our residents,” assures Bruno Bernard, president of the metropolis.

A unification of pricing

The unification of existing transport networks will allow “a strong and coherent offer, designed on a global scale, unified and fairer pricing, a shared and more accessible ticketing system, and passenger information”, summarizes Sytral mobilities.

Thus, from the start of the 2025 school year, network users will benefit from simplified pricing with “a single ticket office” with “the possibility of traveling across the entire network – which includes 2 million inhabitants – with a transport ticket unique “. “Solidarity pricing of 10.50 euros per month and free admission for children up to 10 years old will be extended to the entire perimeter,” specifies the management.

A unique site and app for better communication

Sytral Mobilities also indicates that through a single website and TCL application, communication and distribution of tickets will be “homogenized and simplified”.

Indeed, after the unification of the networks, the new TCL will represent 262 municipalities, 5,000 agents, 1,500 buses and coaches, 130 tram trains, 108 metro trains, 550 school services and an on-demand service for PRMs, offering nearly of 100,000 trips per year, as summarized by Bruno Bernard in a publication
