The Villedieu-sur-Indre Christmas market has surprises in store

The Christmas market is back on Sunday 1is December from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., rue Jean-Jaurès and place des Justes. Usually this event takes place on Saturday, but this year it was decided to change the date. The municipality, with the elected officials responsible for animation and communication, is once again offering a great program where more than forty artisans, exhibitors and traders will be present to welcome visitors. Installed in the chalets which will be open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

At the Victor-Hugo media library, a Christmas story event will be offered at 3 p.m. Santa Claus will be installed in his chalet to take photos and will wander the aisles from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Christmas magic stroll will leave from 4 p.m. with the Aicom 36 company. Mayor Xavier Elbaz will ring the bell the gong for the launch of the Christmas lights at 5:30 p.m. A free concert in the Saint-Sébastien church will be given at 6 p.m. 30 with the music of Villedieu, the choirs of the city and Déols. There will also be rides for children.

From 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., a free Christmas train, mulled wine, oysters and non-free waffles will be offered by Villedieu Animations. Catering is possible on site with soup, paninis, burgers…
