Middle and high school students from the Emmanuel d'Alzon Institute in the Gard are currently in South Korea.

Objective: to formalize a partnership with an international high school in Busan, the second largest city in South Korea (4 million inhabitants). International high school for 40 years, “Pusan ​​foreign language high school” has 500 students. “After 2 years of exchange thanks to contact through the presence of a community of Oblate Sisters of the Assumption nearby, this is finally the realization of the partnership,” rejoices Yvan Lachaud, director of the 150-year-old Emmanuel Dalzon Institute, bringing together 6,600 students from nursery to higher education and CFA, spread across Nîmes, Vestric-et-Candiac, Beaucaire and Le Grau-du-Roi.

“An opening to the world”

After 4 days of discovering Japan, 22 middle and high school students from the Emmanuel Dalzon Institute are immersed in families and at Busan high school for the week. The Koreans will make the return exchange during the year 2025. “Another opening on Le Monde which allows students to discover this country, this culture, this language through travel and/or receiving a Korean correspondent in Nîmes”specifies Yvan Lachaud. Vietnam, New Delhi, Australia, Finland, d'Alzon is renowned for its openness to the world through numerous travels and humanitarian projects.
