Less than half of people at risk vaccinated against flu in Essonne

This virus, especially in winter, is accompanied by many symptoms such as high fever, muscle pain or headaches. The consequences can also be more serious for people said to be “at risk” such as the elderly, pregnant women and infants under six months old. To avoid complications, vaccination is recommended. Vaccination coverage differs depending on the departments. In the 2023-2024 season, there were 45.8% of people at risk protected in Essonne. This is less than the national average (47.1%).
