Some Departmental Archives repositories are champions of communication, others work hard in complete discretion. This is the case of the Somme Archives which has no Facebook page, no account X, nor Instagram, at most a newsletter to which you can subscribe for free.

And the harvest of good news does not stop there, since Anne Lejeune, director of the Departmental Archives of the Somme, has given us an impressive list of other projects in progress or under study and new releases planned for 2025 and the beginning of 2026:
- notarial archives of Amiens studies (3 E) : 278 746 views, scheduled to go online in early 2025;
- registers of control of acts (2 C) for the offices of Abbeville, Ailly-sur-Noye, Albert, Andainville, Ault, Bougainville, Brocourt, Chaulnes: 73 492 views, scheduled to go online in early 2025;
- military service registers 1865-1879 (1 R): digitization in progress, put online planned during 2025;
- lists of conscripts and the drawing of lots (1 R) 1798-1866: digitization in progress, online release planned during 2025;
- civil status registers of the district of Péronne (2 E) for 1is quarter you XXe century: project in progress for a probable online release at the end of 2025 and beginning of 2026;
- registers of control of acts (2 C) for the Amiens offices (1694-1811): project under study with a probable release online in early 2026.
