Carmaux. Les Artomnes theater festival

On Friday November 15 and Saturday November 16, the Pierre-Bérégovoy room will host the “Les Artomnes” festival and its two theater evenings. The piece “Best Wishes” by Carole Greep, performed at the Avignon festival, will open the festivities. A bittersweet comedy, it tells us about love on a New Year's Eve when nothing goes as planned. On Saturday, the corrosive humor of Maryline Bal in “All my wishes for happiness” will invite you to witness the explosive reunion between Charlotte, a slightly stuck wife and mother, and her sister Claire, divorced and totally liberated.

For theater lovers and first-time audiences alike, “Les Artomnes” promises an evening of laughter.

Graulhet. Textile art exhibition at Artonef

This exhibition, which began in July, is coming to an end. Open until November 24, it highlights the work of two textile artists. Anaïs Duplan explores and creates structures from thread: silk, linen, cotton or horsehair. Isao, a textile sculptor, gives volume to strips of fabric.
Prototypes, patterns, choice of materials…

This exhibition invites you to discover the manufacturing secrets and research that carried out the two artists. On the morning of Sunday, November 17, Isao will lead an introductory workshop on textile art.

Cordes-sur-Ciel. From the tragic clown

Friday November 15 at 8:30 p.m. the cultural café Le Stockage is programming a show full of emotion, carried by the Ktalop company. Alone on stage, “La MONique” invites us to explore the scars of her soul. Funny and melancholic, this clown confronts the public with the big questions of life: the fear of death, its denial, the loss of our loved ones.

Castres. Opening of the 35th edition of Musical Sundays

Sunday, November 17, the young French pianist Jonathan Fournel will inaugurate this anniversary season of Musical Sundays. A very popular event in the Tarn autumn, this chamber music festival opens the doors of the Castres theater one Sunday a month.

This week, Jonathan Fournel will explore Bach, Brahms, Szymanowski and Liszt with breathtaking technical ease. Recent winner of the Queen Elisabeth of Belgium competition, the young pianist knows how to keep his audience in suspense with his subtle and colorful playing.

Albi. Discover the city differently

The Albi Citoyenne association regularly organizes citizen walks in a chosen district of the city. Under the name RUE (Exploratory Urban Meetings), these excursions guided by a passionate resident allow you to discover the history of a neighborhood, its heritage, and the daily lives of its residents.

Sunday, November 17, the association is offering its next RUE in the Rudel district. Meet at 10 a.m. in front of the Jardin du Rudel, avenue Baudelaire. The walk will end with a shared aperitif in the spirit of a Spanish inn. An original way to create connections and get to know your city better.
