A 19-year-old young man was killed in a traffic accident, which occurred around 6:30 a.m. this Tuesday, November 12 in the morning, on the RN 21, near La Croix-Blanche. A total of five cars were involved in the pileup. Two of them are linked to an accident before the arrival of emergency services.
According to initial findings, the victim, born in 2005 in Portugal and residing in Aire-sur-l'Adour in the Landes, would have shifted his Golf into the opposite lane for undetermined reasons and would have collided with the BMW which was on its lane, in the direction of Villeneuve-sur-Lot-Agen. Rodriguo Ferrera died on impact. This young temporary worker was employed on the 2×2 lane construction site in Monbalen.
As required by the legal procedure, the vehicle was seized and toxicological analyzes were carried out as part of the investigation aimed at investigating the causes of this fatal accident, carried out by the gendarmes of the Pont-du-Casse brigade. .
On site, a 43-year-old man, slightly injured, was transported to the Agen hospital center for check-up. He came out during the day. A 52-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, also involved, had no injuries.
The RN 21 was cut for several hours, with the implementation of a diversion. The road was reopened mid-morning.
