Is equality achieved in Switzerland in the sharing of household chores? To this question, 67% of Generation Z men, born between 1997 and 2007, answered in the affirmative. A majority of them think that this is also the case when it comes to reconciling professional and family life (67%), career opportunities (71%) and salaries (53%). These results were published this Wednesday in the third edition of the National Equality Barometer, a survey carried out at the end of 2023 among 2,500 people.

Generation Z women give a very different assessment. Much fewer think that equality is a reality for the sharing of domestic tasks (40%), the balance between family and work (35%), career opportunities (48%) and salaries (20%). ).
