#TrouveMonGalet, the surprising treasure hunt

If you walk around the Esternay countryside (), you may come across small painted pebbles. According to Actu.fra child had the chance to discover one and made a call on Facebook. He was thus able to find the painter who had left him on the path and who explained to him the story of a treasure hunt from across the Channel.

Behind this pebble is the service of the Intercommunal Social Action Center (Cias) of Sézanne, which works with people over 60 to break their isolation. Through this treasure hunt and these personalized stones, workshops are set up. Once painted, the stones are hidden in 11 towns around Sézanne.

Keep the pebble or hide it again

If you come across a painted pebble, you can keep it or hide it in another place. You will need to indicate its discovery on the Facebook page dedicated to this activity. To find it, simply search for #Trouvemongalet followed by the number of the department where you are located (for example, #Trouvemongalet51), in the search bar of the social network. Subsequently, you must publish the photo of the pebble and the location of its hiding place. Don't forget to say whether you kept it or hid it again.

This unusual treasure hunt comes from England, where it was called “Love on the rocks”. He arrived in during confinement. The first pebble was found in 2020 in France. The one that was discovered by a child in Esternay was hidden near a wash house. It's up to you to look now!
