Espaly-Saint-Marcel: the car hits the central island

A 77-year-old motorist lost control of her Renault Twingo on Thursday shortly before 5 p.m. while she was driving on Avenue de la Mairie in Espaly-Saint-Marcel. His vehicle hit the central island. The Puy firefighters went to the scene. The septuagenarian was not injured, but severely shocked. She was transported to the Émile-Roux hospital center to undergo follow-up examinations.

The gendarmes were called around 1 a.m., during the night from Saturday to Sunday, for a traffic accident that occurred on the road from Montjuvin to Lapte. A 4×4 coming from the Montfaucon-en-Velay road would have accelerated sharply in the direction of the Lavalette dam. Witnesses heard a loud noise. The Nissan Patrol had just had an accident and was straddling both lanes of traffic. The motorist managed to leave the passenger compartment of the vehicle. He was not injured, but his alcohol test came back positive. He left with the gendarmes to join the brigade where he was subjected to the breathalyzer.

An accident involving three vehicles occurred Friday at 5 p.m. on the RN 88. A motorist felt unwell while driving while driving near Bargette, commune of Landos.
