While the hypothesis of a family tragedy seems to be favored, an investigation was opened by the Bonneville public prosecutor's office and entrusted to the gendarmerie who will have to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
According to our information, the other parent is currently being sought.
Around sixty gendarmes are mobilized: soldiers from the Bonneville company, the Chambéry Research Section, the Departmental Road Safety Squadron (EDSR) and the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM) as well as technicians of the criminal identification unit (CIC) of Haute-Savoie.
