PHOTOS – The first snowflakes of the season in Drôme and Ardèche

From Lus-La Jarjatte to Font-d'Urle, from the Col de Rousset to the Grand Échaillon, the resorts of the Drôme were dotted with snow this Tuesday, as evidenced by the webcams viewable live. You can see the Lièvre Blanc track at Lus-La Jarjatte bearing its name aptly, the foot of the Font d'Urle station already whitewashed, just like the summits of the Col de Rousset station. In Ardèche, we see that snowflakes have scattered over the stations of Chavade and de Bauzon.

“We have already had this kind of early snow in recent years but that doesn’t mean anything, especially if like last year there is a spell of mild weather before the Christmas holidays”testifies Clément Rivoire, owner of the Grand Échaillon inn. His restaurant, like others in the mid-mountains, is closed annually after having taken advantage of the late season sun. According to a listener from Bleu Drôme Ardèche, snowflakes already fell on Monday at the Peyrebeille inn, in the town of Lanarce.
