Around 8:30 p.m., several roads began to flood. In Laval, rue des Trois Régiments, next to the station, part of the road was waterlogged and several traffic lights were broken.
Several roads flooded
On the Facebook group Radar Info and Controls (Mayenne 53), several users report flooded roads. Take care on the side of the road linking La Chapelle-Anthenaise to Bonchamp-lès-Laval. Around 8:30 p.m., another motorist photographed the road between Méral and Cossé-le-Vivien. Water crosses the road axis, accompanied by a mudslide. “Impossible to pass!” » she points out. Several vehicles are stopped in his photo.
“Be careful, flooded road when arriving at Montsûrs coming from Laval just after the bend”, points out another motorist. Same between Courbeveille and Cossé-le-Vivien, where water overflows onto the road.

As a reminder, the department is on yellow alert for thunderstorms until 2 a.m. On Wednesday, a rain flood alert runs from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as a new alert for the risk of thunderstorms from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
