Baptiste LestienneNortherner trained inLille Central School (North), is one of the co-founders of Aesthé aesthetic center. The Parisian company opened its first address in the provinces, in Old Lille, at the end of 2024. A “real, purebred Lille resident”, who went to the other side of the world

Baptiste is from the North. His family comes and is in the North. He studied at the prestigious Centrale engineering school, specializing in entrepreneurship.

Baptiste set off on an adventure early, with the company (also northern) Decathlon. “I spent a year in the Philippines, for the launch of Decathlon there,” he relates. He was a help in logistics and supply chain*, for the opening of the first store on site. “When I left, on the 2^e was about to open. It was a great adventure, we started with a few and ended with 130 local collaborators. »

What struck him: this adrenaline that we feel when we are immersed in a project like this, where everything has to be built locally, and where we have to be reactive and efficient.

Once back in Lille, Baptiste resumed his studies at Skema Business School, before joining a consulting firm in Paris. “I supported the structures on all new technologies, blockchain**”, he explains to us. This for a year. But that doesn't suit him. “I quickly realized that this life, although very comfortable, was not in line with my values. » He left everything behind to go on a trip with the idea, once back, of opening his own company.

The key meeting

It was a meeting that made Baptiste switch to a sector that we probably wouldn't have suspected when reading his CV: aesthetic care. Baptiste was, thanks to mutual acquaintances, put in touch with Anne-Charlotte Rousseau, who told him about her project for an aesthetic center in her image, Aesthé. “I knew nothing about the field, but the values ​​she wanted to integrate into her project spoke to me,” relates the entrepreneur.

The duo decides to launch, in 2020, two days before confinement… Bad timing for the project which will wait to mature, for a first opening in Paris in 2021. This with a third partner, Dr Arnaud Lambert, a renowned aesthetic doctor.

The viable concept, a first opening in the provinces… in Lille, of course!

In November 2021, the first Aesthé center opened in the Marais. Word of mouth has made it a popular address. A second address then opened in Paris, then two others. At the end of 2024, the center will be established in Lille. “I am very happy to return to the North, with this project. Opening here is obvious. The concept corresponds to the values ​​of the North.” Namely offering excellent care, “with empathy and kindness”, describes Baptiste.

A good team

With his associates, they complement each other well. “We do a bit of everything but, basically, Anne-Charlotte manages the HR, finance and general management aspects; Dr. Lambert the protocols and ensures medical rigor. I'm into 'anything computer related', so to speak. I am in charge of IT, the operation of the centers and their expansion.” A recipe that seems to be paying off.

In Lille, the first weeks are in any case promising. This is a “success story” as we like them, especially since it began and continues in Lille.
