Who will have the most beautiful Christmas balcony in Sète?

Of December 16 to January 3, 2025the inhabitants of Sete will be able to participate in the competition for the most beautiful balcony.

Prepare your most beautiful decorations. Organized by the “Bridges and Quays” Neighborhood Council and the Municipal Youth Council, this competition for the most beautiful balcony takes place in order to bring the magic of Christmas to the people of Sétois.

First of all, in order to participate in the competition for the most beautiful balcony, residents must register between November 25 and December 20by email to this address: [email protected] or in person at the Sète Associations et Quartiers service, 14 rue Paul Valéry, 34200 Sète (telephone: 04 99 04 70 69). When registering, participants must send a photo of their decorated balcony and include their name, address and telephone number.

What criteria?

The jury, made up of elected officials and members of the Neighborhood and Municipal Youth Councils, will evaluate each balcony according to several criteria:

• The quality of the layout: the overall effect of the decoration
• The artistic sense : the originality of the balconies
• Visibility from the street : to liven up public roads
• Respect for the environment : effort for energy savings and sustainable materials

The final photos must be sent by e-mail before December 20 at midnight.
