In these social housing units in Orne, tenants will save 30% on bills

Before winter, it's time to do work to insulate homes as best as possible. Several social landlords have undertaken rehabilitation work. This is the case of Logissia in Randonnai, where fourteen homes will be rehabilitated in the Emile René city. The Department provided financial assistance of €230,000.

But this is especially the case for Orne Habitat, which will complete two major projects in La Chapelle-Montligeon (Orne). Twelve homes in the Plan d’eau residence were rehabilitated, as were sixteen homes in the Ronderie residence.

30% savings

“This work was planned for a long time and illustrates Orne Habitat’s strategy to eradicate “thermal sieves”. In fact, these accommodations were classified F and G by the DPE. At the end of the work, these homes will benefit from a C label,” explains Orne Habitat. The tenants were consulted by the lessor and gave a favorable opinion on the construction. And for good reason, Orne Habitat ensures that they will make savings of 30% on their energy bills.

The Plan d’eau projects will be completed in December 2024, for a total cost of €695,000. For La Ronderie, the work has been completed since August 2024, for a total cost of €893,000.
