80 vehicles checked in Baud, one driver in police custody

Ce Sunday November 10, 2024 in the early morning, a major road control operation took place in Baud (Morbihan), on the road to Pontivy. Between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., under the leadership of the departmental gendarmerie company of Pontivy, 15 soldiers from the brigade company of Baud, the surveillance and intervention platoon of the gendarmerie of Pontivy and the motorized brigade of Pontivy carried out controls with the aim of combating accidents and addictive behavior.

Refusal to comply and lack of permit

More than 80 vehicles and their occupants were checked. The report, communicated by the gendarmes, shows 6 procedures for driving while under the influence of alcohol (3 infractions, below 0.8 g/l of blood and 3 above, therefore criminal offenses. Two of the offenders held probationary licenses.

Above all, a tort procedure was carried out to refusal to complydriving under the influence of alcohol, lack of driving license and lack of technical control. The driver was taken into custody and his vehicle impounded.
