The company specializes in detecting water leaks after the meter using “non-destructive technology”, in other words without breaking. “We use techniques that are not invasive, therefore allowing us not to destroy the habitat,” explains Nathalie, whose office is located at Co-working Villeneuvois.
Detect before repair
Swimming pool, home or terrace, the O-Leaks company holds nothing back. “In the summer, we are often called for swimming pools, but otherwise, we intervene everywhere: on leaks between the meter and homes or premises, we also sometimes go to car dealerships, supermarkets, on the roof terraces, heating systems… As long as it's after the meter. »
O-Leaks maintains a close relationship with other local companies, including swimming pool installers, plumbers and even heating engineers. Nathalie works with two technicians who are experts in leak detection, trained very regularly in the latest innovations, and who operate in a large geographical area including Lot-et-Garonne and its surroundings. She plans to hire a third person next year.
The interest of O-Leaks is to prepare the ground: “Plumbers do not always have this equipment and are often overwhelmed; They are therefore very happy to call us so that we can detect the leak before they repair it. It's the same when detecting leaks in swimming pools. »
Women's Crafts Prize
To intervene, the company has a whole precise arsenal between microcamera and infrared thermography: “We have various types of cameras that we pass through the pipes to see if they are blocked or if there is a crack, for example. We work on drinking water, wastewater and rainwater. We also have tracer gas: it is nitrogen and hydrogen and as hydrogen is very light, as soon as there is a crack in a pipe, the gas comes out and we detect it at the surface. »
Continually growing, the O-Leaks company received the Feminine Crafts prize during the Artisanal Excellence evening on November 7 at Agen Agora. “It’s recognition, especially for female entrepreneurship. Unfortunately, there are not yet very many of us in France and Lot-et-Garonne. »
