Me Elhadji Amadou Sall, former Minister of Justice and member of the opposition coalition Takku Wallu Senegal, strongly criticized this Sunday the behavior of Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko during the program “Objection” on Sud FM.
The lawyer particularly denounces the attitude of the leader of Pastef towards his detractors: “He threatens everyone, he leaves no one behind, as soon as he cannot stand being attacked, he spends his time attacking”, a- he declared, recalling in particular the recent confrontations with Madiambal and former president Macky Sall.
Me Sall points out what he considers to be a lack of restraint incompatible with the function of Prime Minister: “He is a statesman who is entrusted with the responsibility of leading the executive of our country […] Although on the political level, he can express himself politically, but there is the restraint of his function.”
The former minister also evokes Ousmane Sonko’s past as an opponent, recalling “many outrages against journalists, soldiers, police officers, gendarmes, magistrates, civil servants, judges, lawyers. “
Concerning the complaint filed against Anta Babacar Ngom, Me Sall predicts that the Prime Minister will not appear if he is summoned by the courts: “There is only one thing he fears, and that is to respond to justice. And we know it, we saw it.
