They had surprised the retired couple at their home in Sannois (Val-d'Oise) in the middle of the night, waking them from their sleep. The attackers then had violently attacked the man 75 years old before fleeing with several of their belongings. After several months of an investigation carried out by the Interdepartmental judicial police service (Sipj), with the support of technicians from the Scientific Policethe three alleged perpetrators of a home jacking committed at the start of the year were arrested on Tuesday November 5, 2024.

Brought before a magistrate from the Pontoise public prosecutor's office at the end of their police custody, they were imprisoned while awaiting their judgment.

Awakened by suspicious noises

The events took place during the night of Tuesday January 16 to Wednesday January 17, 2024. It was 5:20 a.m. when a couple living on Rue Docteur Emile-Roux alerted the police to report that they had just been attacked by burglars. Moments earlier, the man and woman had been awakened by suspicious noises. Three criminals had broken the front door to break into their house.

Attacked and robbed

The retirees then found themselves face to face with the criminals. The latter then hit the septuagenarian beforetear off the gold necklace of his wife. They also had stole her purse et stole the keys to a Renault Clio with which they fled, leaving the victims shocked.
