Fight against sexual violence in the Church
Following the proposals they had received from the post-CIASE working groups during their Plenary Assembly in March 2023, the bishops voted, as they had committed to doing, the following three texts:
Benchmarks for confessors
The bishops undertake to publish benchmarks for confessors for their diocese during the year 2025 based on the document “Benchmarks for confessors” presented to the Plenary Assembly.
Charter for spiritual accompaniment
The bishops undertake to publish for their diocese during the year 2025 a charter for spiritual accompaniment based on the document “Charter for spiritual accompaniment” presented to the Plenary Assembly.
Support for the ministry of priests
The bishops recognize the text presented in the Plenary Assembly as a reference document for supporting the ministry of priests in their diocese.
Diving Fonds
Following on from their previous Assemblies, the bishops committed to continuing to contribute to the Selam fund intended for financial reparations for victims, as well as for prevention actions.
Texts and declarations
Lebanon and Palestine
The Assembly voted to send a fraternal message to the Christians of Lebanon and to all Lebanese people in Palestine, as well as to the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem.
Letter from the bishops of France on the occasion of the 2025 Jubilee
The bishops of France have voted for a letter to priests, deacons, consecrated persons, lay people on ecclesial mission and to the people of God on the occasion of the Jubilee and the anniversary of the Council of Nicaea.

The Plenary Assembly voted to implement initial and ongoing training for bishops.
Inscription in the Ordo de France of Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity
The Assembly authorizes procedures with the dicastery for divine worship and the discipline of the sacraments with a view to registering the memory of Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity (Elisabeth Catez) in France (optional memory).
Opening of the beatification process of Claude-Toussaint Marot de la Garaye
The Assembly is in favor of opening the cause, with a view to the possible beatification, of Claude Toussaint Marot de la Garaye.
Opening of the beatification process of Marguerite-Marie de la Motte-Piquet
The Assembly is in favor of opening the cause, with a view to the possible beatification, of Marguerite-Marie de la Motte-Piquet.
Memory of Saint Jeanne Jugan in France (optional memory)
The Assembly authorizes procedures with the dicastery for divine worship and the discipline of the sacraments with a view to registering the memory of Saint Jeanne Jugan as a specific property of France (optional memory).
