Cn Sunday, the three giant pandas born in Pairi Daiza will bid farewell to Belgian visitors. They will still be able to see the pandas Hao Hao and Xing Hui, who arrived in Belgium ten years ago, as part of a collaboration between the animal park and China. The parents of the three ursids born in Belgium will indeed remain in the Brugelette park for a few more years.
“A little gift”
On its Facebook page, the park says: “To mark this special occasion, we captured beautiful aerial images of Tian Bao, Bao Di, and Bao Mei. These unusual shots reveal all the beauty of our Bao’s and are a little gift for you who have followed them with tenderness for all these years. »
“We will meet you today, at 4:45 p.m., in front of the Aquarium of the Park for a last “goodbye” to our three young pandas,” concludes the park.
Tian Bao was born in Pairi Daiza in 2016. The couple Hao Hao and Xing Hui then gave birth to twins in 2019, named Bao Di and Bao Mei.
These three pandas will fly away in mid-December and join the “Giant Panda Base” in Bifengxia, a research and breeding center located in the province of Sichuan, specifies Pairi Daiza. They will enter quarantine from the end of the afternoon before their departure to China in mid-December.
