Serious accident between a scooter and a van in Les Mages in Gard: two teenagers injured on the D904 road

This Friday, November 8, 2024 shortly after 8 p.m., a violent accident occurred on the D904 road involving a van and a scooter. Firefighters from SDIS 30 took care of two teenagers, a boy and a girl, both aged 15, seriously injured in this collision which occurred in Les Mages in Gard. The driver of the van escaped the accident unhurt.

Faced with the seriousness of the teenagers' injuries, three SMUR teams from SAMU 30 were called in to provide reinforcements to ensure their medical care. To facilitate the intervention and secure the emergency response, traffic was interrupted in both directions on the D904 road. The two injured young people were then transported to hospitals. The teenager was evacuated to the Alès hospital center, while the teenager was treated at the Nîmes hospital center.
