For the first time, a show for the benefit of the Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA) of Luynes is organized near Tours. An idea from Alain Bertrand, the founder of “Tap Papatte”, whose goal is to create shows to finance associations in support of the animal cause.
Up to a thousand spectators will be able to attend the Rocky Show this Sunday, November 10, in Notre-Dame-d'Oé (Indre-et-Loire), near Tours. For two hours, the dancers, comedians and actors are going to do the show in support of the Luynes SPA.
The artists come from the extravagance cabaret (Notre-Dame-d'Oé) and the Comédie de Tours. Among them, the masters of ceremoniesLaure Boudie and Adrien Blandamour”specifies Alain Bertrand, the founder of the association “Tap Papatte”, “but also the comedian Léandre, dance, song, magic and acrobatics”.
The idea of creating a show to finance the SPA came to Alain Bertrand last year: “The association is very recent, it was created especially for this show”. A stage electrician by profession, he already has other projects:
The Indre-et-Loire SPA plans to create a “relaxation area” for dogs welcomed in Luynes. They are currently in individual boxes and walked several times a day. This area would allow them to have more space on a daily basis.
The Rocky Show, at Notre-Dame-d'Oé, Oésia room, Sunday November 10 at 5 p.m. Single price of 25 euros.
