Some of the Ardennes will vote again in less than a month. A partial legislative election is taking place in the 1st constituency (Charleville-Rethel) on Sunday December 1st. Candidates had until Friday, November 8, 2024 to report to the prefecture.
Eleven are finally on the starting line to succeed Flavien Termet (National Rally). The youngest MP in France had resigned for “health reasons”. Here is the list of eleven candidates according to the order established by the prefecture.
Rémy Talarico is a candidate without label in the 1st constituency of the Ardennes. An entrepreneur in Charleville-Mézières, he is running for the first time in an election. His deputy is Dominique Louvrier.
Bruno North is a candidate for the National Center of Independents and Peasants (CNIP). Regional councilor for the Grand Est, he did not run during the June legislative elections. Her substitute is Chantal Destrumelle.
Damien Lerouge is again a candidate in the 1st constituency of the Ardennes. He represented the New Popular Front last June. For the December 1 vote, Carolo obtained the support of the Socialist Party. Her substitute is Irène Céline Perrin Tonnin.
Sonia D’Orgeville represents the Ecology party in the center. She was present on the party list for the Europeans last June and a candidate in the last legislative elections. Her substitute is Isabelle Da Silva.
Luca DeParis is running with her deputy Sandrine Bellon under the banner of the “Let’s decide for ourselves!” coalition. “.

Mink Takawé will be a candidate for Lutte Ouvrière. She was already a candidate in the legislative elections last June but in the second constituency of the Ardennes. Her substitute is Nadia Octave.
Lionel Vuibert is representing himself in the constituency this time without a label. He was a Renaissance deputy for the 1st Ardennes between 2022 and 2024. Last July, he was beaten in the second round by Flavien Termet. He will be replaced by Armelle Lequeux-Laménie.
Juliette de Causans is also a regular at elections. L'Ardennaise was second on the list of the Ecology party in the center during the 2024 Europeans. His replacement is Olivier Hedin.
Guillaume Maréchal is the Republican candidate. The vice-president of the Grand Est region had given up on running during the last legislative elections. The municipal councilor in Charleville-Mézières will be replaced by Brice Fauvarque.
Jordan Duflot is the candidate of the National Rally, chosen to replace Flavien Termet. A 27-year-old from Rethélo, he has been campaigning for the RN since 2021. His replacement is Michel Delsuc.
Second round on December 8
The first round of voting will take place on Sunday December 1, 2024. If none of the candidates obtains an absolute majority with at least 25% of those registered, a second round will take place on December 8.
