From November 7 to December 31, 2024, let yourself be transported on a magical journey through the window wagons, animated by passengers made of recycled fabrics. The inauguration is scheduled for Thursday, November 7 at 5 p.m., in the presence of Juliette Binoche.
Noël is approaching and a scent of magic is already floating over the capital. The alleys of Parisilluminate and the department store windows are revealed. It's time to bring out your wool scarves and hats, because the holiday season is upon us! This year, the Spring Haussmann redoubles its magic to transport you to the heart of an enchanted story that will awaken your childish soul.
Choo-choo! Do you hear the whistle of the Spring Express who announces the departure for a magical journey? From November 7 to December 31, 2024eboard the Spring Christmas trainwalking through the woods and snow-covered mountains, before stopping in the windows of the department store.
In the first, the station is in full swing! Grooms and passengers are busy on the boarding platform loading suitcases and gift packages. Tickets crinkle in hands, billboards come to life, and passengers can't wait to get back to their seats.
Attention, announcement at the station: this new edition celebrates the double birthday of 100 years of animated windows and 50 years of moving windows ! Since 1924, Christmas windows have made Parisians dream, and this year, they have nothing to envy of the scenes from the most beautiful tales. Under the magical fingers of Valérie Cuter, seamstress of the department store since 1998, the 132 super stylish characters windows come to life from recycled materials (cardboard, paper, fabric) which awaken the eco-spirit without taking away an ounce of magic from the show.
Carriage after car, it's Christmas at all the stations! As soon as the whistle blows, the journey begins with full speed. First stop: the wagon-restaurantwhere the festive dinner brings together the guests in their most beautiful clothes. Between shared laughter, festive meals and passing snowy landscapes, magic comes to the table. Hats off to the little hands of Spring who orchestrate every detail, down to the Dalmatian sniffing the sweet aroma of the feast.
We continue with a hook through the Suite Haussmann ! In this luxury wagon, the first-class service is revealed in full: on one side, an elegant suite in which a passenger has her hair done, dressed and pampered like a star and on the other a corridor where the bellboys are at work around a golden cart overflowing with packages.
For a Christmas that runs at full steam, head for the gift wagon: an XXL tree shines under the snowflakes, surrounded by golden FERRERO ROCHER© pyramids. The children are stamping their feet with impatience, ready to rush towards the wrapped packages that are just waiting to be unwrapped.
Finally, to immortalize the journey, make a stop in the Christmas photo studionestled in one of the department store's windows. Keep a souvenir of your visit from Wednesday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. or strike a pose alongside the Santa Clausavailable in flesh and beard, on weekends in December, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
