Isère. A van loaded with 400 kg of cannabis intercepted

The days follow one another and are similar in -Isère. A week ago, customs officers made a record seizure of 963 kg of ecstasy, in a cache set up in a van, at the Reventin-Vaugris tollbooth on the A7 motorway. This Wednesday, November 6, it was the turn of the police officers from Ofast, the anti-drug office, to have made a big catch: 400 kg of cannabis resin.

According to information from Dauphiné Libéré, investigators intercepted the van late in the afternoon while it was traveling on a country road in Villette-d'Anthon. Three individuals tried to flee across the fields. But they were quickly caught. In the van, the police got their hands on 400 kg of cannabis resin packaged in Moroccan suitcases. The three individuals, from Nord-Isère and the Mâcon region, were placed in police custody.
