Drone training for farmers, a first in Guyana!
A first in Guyana for more efficient and sustainable agriculture. The MSA and the Directorate of Professional Risks (DRP) of Guyana offer drone driving training for cattle breeders in Guyanafrom November 12 to 16, 2024 at EPLEFPA in Matiti as well as on farms, for practical exercises.
Drones are excellent multifunctional tools that enable precision agriculture. Embedding several sensors depending on the measurements to be taken (estimation of biomass, chlorophyll level, water stress, imaging, etc.), drones allow numerous applications, such as:
- Game damage detection,
- Early detection of diseases,
- Herd monitoring (Calving of Brahams),
- Monitoring of fences, facilitating work on structures.
To register for this training, farmers must meet the following conditions:
- Be up to date with your MSA contributions
