The drums of Martinican Sully Cally exhibited at the “Made In ” fair in

Sully Cally, percussionist musician, dancer, actor, host, producer, writer and above all drum maker, will exhibit these instruments from November 8 to 11, 2024, at Porte de in , on the occasion of the MIF (Made In ) show. . “The drum, more than an instrument, is a central element of our historical, cultural and generational heritage,” recalls the cultural activist.

Sully Cally's drums take pride of place in Paris for 4 days, at the “Made In France” trade show, at Porte de Versailles (from November 8 to 11, 2024). This musical instrument, the most symbolic of Martinican identity and traditional music, “takes its source from African cultures brought by slaves”.

Its presence in the national showcase of the MIF, “the largest event celebrating French manufacturing”is an opportunity for the thousands of expected visitors to discover this heritage element and to interact with Sully. He is one of the rare manufacturers on the island, but who jealously guards the secret of the shaping practiced in his workshop in Fort-de-France.

The 12th edition of products made in France, brought together this year at the exhibition center with some 1000 participants, represented in nearly 10 sectors: fashion & accessories, beauty & well-being, gastronomy, home & decoration, leisure, tourism, services and crafts Of course.
