My appointment came after a change of government and in a particular context: a society crossed by crises (peasant world, overseas, etc.) and more violent, as well as a war at the gates of Europe with repercussions at home , an increase in the cost of living (energy, electronic components, raw materials, etc.). This caused, for example, an explosion of theft (fuel, copper, etc.). This is a context that requires time to appoint those responsible. But the gendarmerie did not stop. It is in working order.
What is your roadmap?
We rely on that of the Minister of the Interior. We must respond to the expectations of elected officials and our fellow citizens: address everyday security problems, adapting to regional and departmental particularities, continue the projects launched to better fight against incivility, violence, including intra-family violence which represents one in two police custody, property damage or drug trafficking which permeates everything.
