Good news for everyone running enthusiasts in Gironde. One of the most famous events in the department, namely the Bazas-Langon, will its big comeback in 2025.

A date has already been found.

A strong comeback for Bazas-Langon

In 2024, the event had not taken place. The organizers had announced, a few months earlier, their intention to put Bazas-Langon on pause.

For what ? Several designsat the time, were mentioned: firstly “an insufficient renewal of the organizational team”, but also “numerous administrative and technical constraints”. In 2021, due to the covid-19 epidemic, the organizers were also forced to cancel the race.

Today, therefore, forward gear is engaged. Excellent news! And at Stade Langonnais Athlétisme, we are indeed preparing for the 2025 edition.

Several races planned

This will include several races:

• the half-marathon between the towns of Bazas and Langon;
• Coimères-Langon (11 km);
• the Cazats-Langon (15 km walk);
• the St-Pey – Langon for young people (2 km);
• the Vergers race for children (1 km)

A date, therefore, to tick in the calendar: that of Sunday March 9, 2025. It will mark the return of one of the flagship races in Gironde. The Bazas-Langon 2025 and its different events.
