His journey
Marie Aubert was born in Bègles (Gironde) in 1972. Holder of a DESS in international administration obtained at the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) in Bordeaux, she continued her studies at the Regional Institute of Administration ( IRA) of Nantes. In 2006, when she graduated from ENA, Simone-Veil class, she already had a solid CV in administration. For example at the Ministry of the Economy where she is attached to the legal department, or to the Treasury department of the Ministry of Finance.
She joined the prefecture that year, as sub-prefect, chief of staff to the prefect of the Poitou-Charentes region. Two years later, Marie Aubert was transferred to Martinique, as chief of staff to the prefect, where she faced general strikes followed by riots (in 2009), and the repatriation of victims of the Haiti earthquake (in 2010). . She continued with various central administration missions before joining another ministry.
Because in 2012, she became chief of staff of the socialist Aurélie Filippetti, Minister of Culture. When the latter was replaced by Fleur Pellerin in 2014, Marie Aubert returned to the Ministry of the Interior as secretary general of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques prefecture.
The third woman only
She was sub-prefect of Le Havre in 2017, the year the city's mayor, Édouard Philippe, became Prime Minister. Three years later, she headed to the south-east with her appointment as prefect delegate for equal opportunities to the prefect of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
In 2012, she became chief of staff to the socialist Aurélie Filippetti, Minister of Culture.
The assignment was short-lived since in 2021, she joined the prefecture of the Grand Est region, delegated for security. In other words, logistical, material and human support for the operational services of law enforcement.
