The Department is launching the Ordi'Lot 2024 distribution campaign, this November, in Lot colleges. Always according to the same principle: the acquisition of the laptop for students is facilitated thanks to financial assistance allocated by the Department. This assistance varies between 20% and nearly 95% of the price of the computer depending on the family quotient.
This year, a total of 913 computers are being distributed. Serge Rigal, president of the Department, participated in the distribution this Thursday, November 7 at the Luzech college, in the presence of Sophie Sarraute, academic director of the Lot national education services, and Marc Gastal, departmental advisor. In this college, 44 computers were distributed.
Endowed students have just entered 6th grade or are attending a Lot college for the first time, whether public or private. The laptop they were given also serves as a tablet: the screen is touchscreen, full HD with 360° rotation. The tool is owned by the family and is provided with around forty applications used in the school environment: math, technology, science, French, languages, geography and even 140 digital books. This operation allows families to benefit from reliable equipment to work at home and stay in contact with the college.
